Local union 529 is one of hundreds of locals chartered by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers which is headquartered in Washington, DC. The IBEW is divided into eleven Districts covering Canada and the United States. The District 1 office, represents all of Canada and is located in Mississauga, ON under the guidance of International Vice President.

Our local union, chartered in 1947 by eleven founding members, we are located in Saskatoon, Sk. Our jurisdiction covers the geographical area from the 51st latitude parallel North within the province of Saskatchewan.
