Project: Orano McClean Lake, SK - Multiple Start Dates

The McClean Lake mill, 850 km northeast of Saskatoon in northern Saskatchewan, is Orano Canada’s flagship operation. It is a unique uranium milling facility that allows for the processing of undiluted, high-grade uranium ore. 


**This call includes an additional taxable incentive of $100.00 / day (before tax)**


Contractor:   South East Construction


Start Date: April 8, 2026 (may vary depending on available flights)

Required: one (1) RSE/Journeyman


Start Date: April 10, 2026 (may vary depending on available flights)

Required: two (2) RSE/Journeyman 


Start Date: April 10, 2026 NIGHT SHIFT (may vary depending on available flights)

Required: one (1) RSE/Journeyman


Duration: start through to April 24-28 (approx. to end of shutdown) 

(Short Call - layoff requests will not be accommodated) 

Contract: Provincial Electrical Agreement - Northern Industrial Rate

Hours of Work: 630 am to 530 pm (potential for overtime) *Note that exact hours for days/night shift are still being sorted out but will be working 11-12 hour days

Breaks: Two 1/2 hour paid breaks for 11 hour shift 

Work Description: Install cables, field tray, junction boxes and terminations. Brownfield setting in existing plant, work in the acid plant and calciner. 

LOA: none

Travel: flight time

Camp Job


Required for Dispatch: SCOT, Rights & Responsibilities, Fall Protection, Valid SK Journeyman License, clear pre access 9-panel alcohol and drug test. 


General Notes: 

1. A&D test will be coordinated by contractor safety 

2. Bring your own hard hat 

3. Flight hubs in Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge

4. Flight times will be determined by the chosen Hub 

5. Tools will be allowed to take on plane - 50lbs for tools, 40 lbs. for gear (90 lbs. total) 

6. Camp accommodations and flights coordinated by the Contractor 

7. Coverall size required upon successful bid 


Safety Notes: 

1. Work is in the acid plant calciner 

2. PAPR masks required (full face) - can be challenging for workers with breathing issues. 

3. Glasses cannot be worn with the PAPR masks, and no eye contacts allowed on site (VISION MUST BE GOOD) 

4. After shift workers will be required to produce a urine sample, logged for nation database and again another sample prior to next shift start (samples are used for radiation and not drugs); paid time.
