The Wheeler River Project is situated in the eastern portion of the Athabasca Basin region in northern Saskatchewan, and it is the site of a proposed In Situ Recovery (ISR) uranium mining project. It is located 35 km north-northeast of the Key Lake mill and 35 km southwest of the McArther River uranium mine, within the traditional territory of several Indigenous peoples.
Required: Two (2) RSE & One (1) 3rd or 4th Yr Apprentice
(One JM to be assigned as working Foreman)
Start Date: July 29, 2026 (Travel Day)
Shift: 6:30 am to 5:30 pm
Rotation: 16 on / 12 off (1st and last day are travel days via bus/heli)
Contract: Industrial Collective Bargaining Agreement (North of 56th parallel)
Duration: Ongoing to approximately late October 2026
Hours: 11 hour days, 2 paid 30 min breaks
Description of Work: Installation of ground grid (4/10 and 2/0 bare copper, C crimps, PVC stub ups through concrete slab, etc. Moving into the general plant/substation construction.
Other Notes:
1. One RSE will be assigned as working Foreperson, and will need to provide a Driver's abstract for insurance purposes
2. QEW is required
3. WHMIS (within one year)
4. Pre Access A&D test will be required
